VR Troopers set to return with a new series from Boom! Studios.

      VR Troopers is set to return with its first new series in three decades, thanks to Boom! Studios, which will launch a six-issue comic book created by the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers team, featuring writer Mairghread Scott and artist Sebastián Piriz.

      Emerging from the pages of Boom!'s Power Rangers Prime, the new VR Troopers series will reintroduce Ryan Steele, Kaitlin Star, and J.B. Reese, the stars of the 90s superhero "sister series" to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers from Saban Entertainment, which aired for two seasons from 1994 to 1996.

      The VR Troopers represent the top human heroes of the Eltarian empire on Earth, but what secrets are the Eltarians hiding? When VR Ryan tracks down a rogue Skug, he will encounter an adversary that will profoundly alter his understanding of VR—and himself—forever!
