Megabit and developer Milky Tea have unveiled the release of Grit and Valor – 1949 on Steam for PC. This dieselpunk real-time tactics roguelite immerses players in an alternate-history World War II, where they command a squad of resistance mech pilots battling the Evil Axis. Check out the launch trailer below….

In the alternate World War II depicted in Grit and Valor – 1949, Europe is reeling as the technologically superior Evil Axis forces utilize their Mechs to subdue the populations of occupied nations. While most resistance efforts have ended in defeat, a handful of survivors have come together to mount one last stand. They represent Europe’s final chance for triumph.

Players will lead a Mech Resistance group, needing to navigate deep into enemy territory to detonate an EMP bomb and shift the battle's momentum. Achieving this success will require careful planning and strategic thinking for every move on the battlefield. Players must utilize high ground and cover, exploit the enemy's weaknesses, and seize every advantageous opportunity.

At the conclusion of each of the four regions, players will confront a boss battle against an Axis General. These encounters will feature intense confrontations involving waves of elite units, new challenges, and giant boss mechs.

      Key features include:

      - Customizable squads, enabling players to adapt their Mechs and Pilots to new strategies.

      - Roguelite replayability ensures that no two playthroughs are alike.

      - Four unique regions to battle through, each offering distinct gameplay mechanics, challenges, and randomly generated battlefields.

      - An alternative history dieselpunk backdrop of a Europe dominated by the Axis.

Grit and Valor – 1949 is now available on Steam, currently discounted by 20% until April 9th.
