      Sony Pictures has unveiled the first poster and the official synopsis for the upcoming slasher horror reboot/legacy sequel, I Know What You Did Last Summer. This new installment hints at the return of the sinister hook-wielding killer, along with original stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr., who will reprise their roles as Julie James and Ray Bronson from the first two films. Here’s a look at it...

      "When five friends unintentionally cause a fatal car accident, they conceal their involvement and agree to keep it a secret to avoid facing the repercussions. A year later, their past returns to haunt them, forcing them to confront a terrifying reality: someone knows what they did last summer...and is determined to exact revenge. As the friends are hunted down one by one by a killer, they realize this has happened before, prompting them to seek assistance from two survivors of the infamous Southport Massacre of 1997."

      Directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Do Revenge), the film also features returning stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. alongside new cast members Billy Campbell, Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, Jonah Haur-King, Lola Tung, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Austin Nichols, and Gabbriette.
