
Bullet Train Explosion reveals a new trailer and poster in anticipation of its premiere on Netflix.
In anticipation of its debut on Netflix in just two weeks, a fresh poster and trailer have been unveiled for director Shinji Higuchi's forthcoming action thriller, Bullet Train Explosion.
Inspired by Junya Sato’s 1975 film The Bullet Train, the story revolves around the passengers and railway staff of a train headed to Tokyo. The authorities find themselves racing against the clock to rescue them after receiving a call from an anonymous individual claiming a bomb will detonate if the train's speed drops below 100 km/h.
The film features an ensemble cast including Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, Kanata Hosoda, Non, Jun Kaname, Machiko Ono, Hana Toyoshima, Daisuke Kuroda, Satoru Matsuo, Suzuka Ohgo, Matsuya Onoe, Naomasa Musaka, Pierre Taki, Yajuro Bando, and Takumi Saitoh. Check out the trailer below…
A tense call reached the Shinkansen General Operation Control Center, where the caller alleged that a bomb had been placed on the Hayabusa No. 60 en route to Tokyo, threatening to detonate if the train's speed fell below 100 km/h. The caller demands a ransom of 100 billion yen to deactivate the bomb. The crew, passengers, and railway workers engage in a last-minute struggle to avert disaster within the limited time they have. Will the Hayabusa No. 60 manage to navigate through this perilous situation?
Bullet Train Explosion will be available on Netflix starting April 23rd.
