Mythic Quest has been cancelled after four seasons, with an updated finale set to release next week.

      After a four-season run on Apple TV+, the streaming platform has opted to cancel *Mythic Quest*, as reported by Variety. However, even though the fourth season wrapped up a couple of weeks ago, the series finale will be updated next week to include a new ending that encapsulates its definitive conclusion.

      *Mythic Quest* depicted the team at a video game studio responsible for the eponymous game, a highly popular MMORPG. The cast included Rob McElhenney, who was also one of the show's creators, along with Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis, and Naomi Ekperigin.

      "Endings are difficult. But after four amazing seasons, *Mythic Quest* is coming to an end," said executive producers Megan Ganz, David Hornsby, and Rob McElhenney. "We are incredibly proud of the series and the world we created—and profoundly thankful to every cast and crew member who dedicated themselves to it. To all our fans, thank you for joining us. To our partners at Apple, we appreciate your belief in our vision from the start. Because endings are challenging, with Apple’s support, we have made one final adjustment to our last episode—allowing us to say goodbye, rather than just game over.”

      This news follows not only the conclusion of the fourth season but also the launch of its spin-off, *Side Quest*, an anthology that highlights other characters in the series, whether they worked at the Mythic Quest studio or engaged with the game online. The updated finale will be available on Apple TV+ next week.
