A new variant of ROBO-DOU Voltron has been released, featuring an electroplating silver finish that beautifully captures the appeal of retro toys! From the immensely popular 80s series Voltron: Defender of the Universe, ROBO-DOU Voltron has gained immense popularity, and the outstanding ROBO-DOU Voltron (Retro Toy Edition) is now available, paying tribute to the first Voltron collectible released in 1981!
Following closely in the footsteps of its predecessor, the ROBO-DOU Voltron (Retro Toy Edition) is a non-scale, fully-articulated figure standing roughly 27cm (~10.6”) tall in Voltron mode, built with a remarkable die-cast main frame. This collectible variant preserves the robot’s distinctive retro style with an impressive electroplating silver finish to enhance the nostalgia of the classic mecha design. The Retro Toy Edition includes two exclusive sets of metallic decal sticker sheets, reminiscent of the enjoyable experience of hand-detailing collectibles from the past; the remaining set of stickers is compatible with previously released ROBO-DOU Voltron series items.
The classic Voltron is recreated using ROBO-DOU engineering, achieving greater articulation and better combining functions compared to its peers. ROBO-DOU Voltron (Retro Toy Edition) consists of five Lion mecha and can split into Lion mode or combine to form Voltron. Each of the five Lion mecha is a fully-articulated figure, incorporating zinc alloy and metal parts for the movable joints. Together, the figure boasts 124 points of articulation for the entire set of five machines, along with a set of weapons for Voltron mode and unique weapons for each Lion.
