This beautifully restored and remastered Director's Cut enhances the film’s depth and natural character development, creating a cinematic experience that is enriched by Dolby Vision and Atmos sound. Visionary director Ridley Scott has woven a compelling and dangerous narrative about the Crusades that has impacted audiences for years; however, it has never been presented with such high-definition visuals and audio, enhancing the experience for both long-time fans and newcomers.
Originally released on May 6, 2005, Kingdom of Heaven is one of Scott's most esteemed works, depicting a world filled with history, adventure, and stunning visuals to tell an epic story. Orlando Bloom plays the brave Balian, a young Frenchman in medieval Jerusalem during the Crusades. After losing everything, Balian seeks redemption through a heroic struggle against overwhelming odds to save his people and embrace his fate as a knight.
The 20th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray release of Kingdom of Heaven consists of a three-disc set housed in a collectible SteelBook that celebrates the unique weaponry and masks featured in the movie.
