Six new adventures from Doctor Who are presented in Short Trips: Tales from the Vortex.

      Six brand-new audio adventures from the beloved Short Trips series have been released today by Big Finish Productions. Short Trips: Tales from the Vortex features six thrilling tales spanning time and space, showcasing both classic and contemporary eras of Doctor Who.

      These new adventures are narrated by Janet Fielding, Rebecca Root, and India Fisher, all of whom have previously portrayed the Doctor's companions, alongside Laura Aikman, Kaye Brown, and Clare Corbett.

      Short Trips: Tales from the Vortex includes the following short stories:

      - **Dark Watchers of California** by Riley Silverman, which sees the Twelfth Doctor and Bill on a quest to locate Susie, who is hiding in California's Big Sur. Will they be able to find her, and what do the ominous Dark Watchers seek?

      - **When I Say Run...** by Ben Tedds tells a brief tale of the Tenth Doctor experiencing an uncomfortable moment when an alien being takes over his body during a morning jog.

      - **Rise of the Eukaryans** by Daniel Hardcastle follows a busy factory owner who discovers her face burned onto her toast and her fridge mysteriously rearranged. Luckily, the Eleventh Doctor arrives to assist in averting a rebellion by alien yeast creatures.

      - **Ahead of Time** by Paul Booth transports the Eighth Doctor and Charley to the ravaged planet Kairon, where the timeline is in chaos. With the Time Lords threatening to erase the planet, can the Doctor help its leader restore order?

      - **Emerald Isle** by Christian Markham is a Seventh Doctor adventure that takes listeners to Montserrat in the Caribbean. For Ace and her childhood friend, this tropical paradise is anything but. Can the Doctor guide them back home?

      - **Dark is the Devil that Walks** by Mags L Halliday returns the Fifth Doctor, Tegan, and Turlough to 1814 Devon, where palaeontologist Isabella Kerslake saves the Doctor from a cliff fall. With the Doctor unable to move, who will confront the mysterious figure lurking on his rescuer's estate?

      Alongside over four hours of riveting Doctor Who stories, Short Trips: Tales from the Vortex also includes more than an hour of behind-the-scenes content. Buyers will receive a four-page PDF booklet detailing the stories and their contributors.
