Netflix has unveiled four first look images from director Victoria Mahoney’s sequel to the action thriller The Old Guard 2.
The film brings back Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, and Veronica Ngô, introducing new cast members Uma Thurman and Henry Golding. Take a look at the first look images here...
Andy (Charlize Theron) and her team of immortal warriors make their return, driven by a renewed purpose in their quest to safeguard the world. With Booker (Matthias Schoenaerts) still in exile due to his betrayal and Quynh (Veronica Ngô) seeking revenge after breaking free from her underwater confinement, Andy faces her newfound mortality as an enigmatic threat rises that could endanger everything she has sought to achieve over the millennia. Andy, along with Nile (KiKi Layne), Joe (Marwan Kenzari), Nicky (Luca Marinelli), and James Copley (Chiwetel Ejiofor), seeks the assistance of Tuah (Henry Golding), an old acquaintance who might hold the key to unraveling the secrets of their immortal existence.
The Old Guard 2 is set to premiere on Netflix on July 2nd.
