Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek come together once again for a revival on the set of Malcolm in the Middle.

We'll find out how life may still be unfair for Malcolm, as Frankie Muniz has posted the first behind-the-scenes photo from the revival of Malcolm in the Middle, showcasing his reunion with his television parents, Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek.

Muniz portrayed Malcolm during the original seven-season run of Malcolm in the Middle, which followed a gifted young boy navigating life in a highly dysfunctional family brimming with chaos. Cranston played Malcolm's silly father, Hal, while Kaczmarek took on the role of his strict mother, Lois.

Muniz shared a photo of the three together on Instagram, marking the first image from the revival, which will see Malcolm reuniting with his family for Hal and Lois’ 40th wedding anniversary. He captioned the photo, “Always good to have Mom and Dad around!!”

Also returning from the original series are Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield as Malcolm’s older brothers, Francis and Reese, with newcomers Caleb Ellsworth-Clark stepping into the role of Dewey, Malcolm’s younger brother, and Keeley Karsten as Malcolm’s daughter.

The revival of Malcolm in the Middle will consist of four episodes, all directed by Ken Kwapis. The original series creator, Linwood Boomer, is back as the writer and executive producer, along with Cranston, Kwapis, Tracy Katsky, Gail Berman, and New Regency's Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Natalie Lehmann serving as executive producers.

The revival will center on Malcolm (Muniz) and his daughter (Keeley Karsten) as they get pulled into the family's chaos when Hal (Cranston) and Lois (Kaczmarek) insist on his presence for their 40th anniversary celebration.

The revival stars original cast members Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, Jane Kaczmarek, Christopher Masterson, and Justin Berfield, alongside Caleb Ellsworth-Clark, Keeley Karsten, Kiana Madeira, Anthony Timpano, and Vaughn Murrae.
