Rosario Dawson hints at the beginning of production for season 2 of Star Wars: Ahsoka.

      After almost two years since the conclusion of its first season, production has commenced on the eagerly awaited second season of the Star Wars series Ahsoka. Lead actress Rosario Dawson posted a photo on Instagram from the set, intriguing fans with a glimpse of Ahsoka Tano’s iconic silhouette. To add to the excitement of her costume reveal, she captioned, “& we’re off... to galaxies far, far away....!”

      Recently, Lucasfilm and Disney have hinted at Ahsoka’s return, announcing that Rory McCann, known for his role in Game of Thrones, will step in as Baylon Skoll, a former Jedi turned mercenary, following the passing of Ray Stevenson. Last week at Star Wars Celebration Japan, fans received their first official look at him. Furthermore, it was revealed during the Celebration that Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker after his guest appearance in the first season of Ahsoka.

      The upcoming season two will follow Ahsoka and Sabine Wren as they find themselves trapped in a distant galaxy while Grand Admiral Thrawn has retreated to the Nightsister home world of Dathomir, aiming to unite the Imperial warlords and remnants scattered throughout the galaxy. The anticipated conflict is expected to culminate in a direct confrontation between Thrawn and Admiral Ackbar, the legendary leader of the Rebellion who commanded the assault against the second Death Star in Return of the Jedi.

      Season two of Ahsoka will feature the return of Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka Tano), Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Sabine Wren), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Hera Syndulla), Eman Esfandi (Ezra Bridger), Ivanna Sakhno (Shin Hati), David Tennant (Huyang), and Lars Mikkelsen (Grand Admiral Thrawn), with Rory McCann (Game of Thrones) joining the cast as Baylon Skoll.
