      Paramount+ has unveiled a trailer and images for Little Disasters, a psychological thriller series based on Sarah Vaughan’s novel of the same name.

      Featuring Diane Kruger, Jo Joyner, Emily Taaffe, and Shelley Conn, the series tells the story of four mothers who initially met at an antenatal class a decade ago, as one of them, an A&E doctor, is confronted with a difficult choice when a friend brings her injured baby to the hospital with an unexplained injury.

      Little Disasters is a multi-layered psychological thriller infused with mystery. The narrative revolves around the friendship of Jess (Diane Kruger), Liz (Jo Joyner), Mel (Emily Taaffe), and Charlotte (Shelley Conn), four expectant mothers who connected ten years earlier in an antenatal class. They have developed strong bonds, supporting each other throughout their journeys of motherhood, until this critical moment.

      The façade of seemingly perfect stay-at-home mom Jess starts to crumble when she takes her baby daughter Betsy to the hospital with a head injury she cannot account for. Her close friend, Liz, who is the on-call A&E doctor, faces the heart-wrenching decision of whether to contact social services.

      Little Disasters will premiere on Paramount+ on May 22nd.
