The Winter Soldier Thunderbolts outfit and the Hellfire Gala in-game event are set to arrive in Marvel Rivals.
Marvel Games and NetEase Games have announced the release of a new Winter Soldier Thunderbolts costume for their superhero team-based PVP shooter Marvel Rivals, set to launch on May 2 at 3am BST (May 1 at 7pm PT). Additionally, they've indicated that the Hellfire Gala: Moments in-game event will start tomorrow morning at 10am BST (2am PT), giving players the opportunity to earn a free costume. The Winter Soldier Thunderbolts costume will be available for purchase in the in-game store, allowing Bucky Barnes to maximize his abilities. This new outfit draws inspiration from the upcoming Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts film set to hit theaters [read our review here].
With the Hellfire Gala: Moments event, players can indulge in the excitement and sophistication of Krakoa, where mutants, humans, and legends come together to partake in the festivities. However, an unknown energy source poses a threat to the island's core, and players must decide its destiny.
Throughout this event, players will have the chance to explore famous locations across Krakoa, engage in various missions, and earn in-game rewards, including the exclusive Wolverine – Patch Costume.
Players can also participate in the Gala Star Vote, casting their votes up to 10 times to create a custom Gallery Card. The hero receiving the highest votes will be granted a new Hellfire costume, which will be available for free during next year’s Hellfire event.
