Vampirella gets ready for Armageddon in June.

      Dynamite Entertainment has revealed that fan-favorite writer Tom Sniegoski will be launching his next grand tale for the Daughter of Drakulon, collaborating with artist Kewber Baal (Vengeance of Vampirella) on the new series Vampirella: Armageddon.

      Sniegoski expressed his excitement about returning to Vampirella, stating, “It’s like slipping into a nice warm sweater.” With over 100 credits to his name for the character, he mentioned that he finds her the most comfortable to write, saying, “I just get her — her, and the world she inhabits. It’s always exciting to sit down and create her next adventures.”

      In a post-apocalyptic setting lies Sepulcher City, a refuge for humanity’s survivors and supernatural beings alike. As with any great metropolis, the shadow of evil hangs over it, but there’s a unique aspect in Sepulcher. Vampirella considers this city her home and is determined to safeguard its inhabitants from the looming darkness. Operating as a new-age private investigator in the Menagerie—a section of the city designated for more monstrous dwellers—Vampirella and her recent werewolf partner Dagwood believe they are ready for any challenges ahead. They are mistaken!

      When buses of immigrants arriving at the walled city to settle in Sepulcher start to disappear, the dark-haired anti-heroine must uncover the connection to a choice from her past and how it ties into a raging war deep within Hell.
