A24 has released the first teaser trailer and a poster for Spike Lee’s new project, the crime thriller Highest 2 Lowest. This film reimagines Akira Kurosawa’s 1963 movie High and Low and marks the fifth collaboration between the director and Denzel Washington, who portrays a powerful music mogul facing a significant moral crisis when he becomes the target of a ransom scheme.
Joining Washington in the cast are Jeffrey Wright, Ilfenesh Hadera, and A$AP Rocky. Watch the trailer below...

Highest 2 Lowest will hit select cinemas on August 22nd and will be available on Apple TV+ on September 5th.
