Gears of War: Reloaded is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
The original Gears of War is set to make a comeback, this time across multiple platforms, as Microsoft has revealed that a fully remastered version of the Xbox 360 classic will be released this August under the title Gears of War: Reloaded, available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
Promoted as “a celebration of one of gaming’s most iconic franchises”, Gears of War: Reloaded will feature a remastered iteration of the original game along with all downloadable content from 2015’s Ultimate Edition, boasting 4K resolution, 60 FPS in the campaign, and 120 FPS in multiplayer, with cross-play enabled across all platforms.
Players who have already purchased the digital version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition before the announcement will be entitled to a free upgrade once Reloaded launches on August 26th. Additionally, the game will be accessible on the first day for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.
