*Practical Magic* chronicled the lives of two witch sisters raised by their quirky aunts in a small town, who must confront narrow-minded prejudice and a curse that jeopardizes their ability to find true love.
In *Practical Magic 2*, Bullock and Kidman will reprise their roles as Sally and Gillian Owens from the 1998 film. No details about the sequel's plot or additional cast members have been revealed yet. However, with WB bringing on director Susanne Bier (of *Birdbox* fame) and now setting the date, more updates on this eagerly awaited film should be coming soon.
Original screenwriter Akiva Goldsman will return to write the sequel, with Bullock, Kidman, and Denise Di Novi producing.
