Starship Troopers: Extermination gets a new update.
The conflict continues to intensify in Starship Troopers: Extermination with the arrival of the new Update 1.4, which introduces additional features and quality-of-life enhancements. Further details about the forthcoming Update 1.5 have also been unveiled, indicating that developer Offworld is not slowing their offensive against the Arachnids. A new trailer is available below, highlighting the updates included in this release.
In this latest update for Starship Troopers: Extermination, players can take advantage of the Fednet Heroism Feature. This feature enables players to install FedNet cameras to record heroic moments on the battlefield, thereby boosting unit morale and experience point gains. Players can document the action as it unfolds, earning rewards and generating effective propaganda.
Troopers who have achieved Weapon Mastery level 6 or higher with the Morita MK1 can now access the loadout menu and add an underbarrel attachment. While this attachment offers clear benefits, it does shift the weapon's weight to the front, which slightly decreases accuracy while moving and firing.
Numerous quality-of-life enhancements and balancing adjustments have been implemented to refine core mechanics and improve the overall tactical experience on the battlefield. Furthermore, improvements to Bug pathing have been made, allowing for more effective movement and reducing instances of them getting stuck in the environment.
Update 1.5 will be released soon, bringing several new features to players:
- The introduction of the Morita MK2 weapon, which was briefly featured in the films.
- Major improvements in accessibility and usability of Company Operations through the Galactic Front – Phase 1 Overhaul.
- The removal of the need to make purchases for Company Ops.
- A new Quickplay option for Company Ops to streamline the matchmaking process.
- The addition of a Dynamic Sky System.
Additionally, starting from Update 1.5, the Hive Hunt mode will exclusively accommodate 16 players.
