A Man on the Inside completes the list of suspects for season 2.

      The second season of Netflix’s comedy mystery series A Man On The Inside has completed its cast with nearly a dozen actors, all of whom are suspects in the next case involving Charles and Julie.

      A Man On The Inside debuted last November, featuring Ted Danson as Charles Nieuwendyk, a retired professor and widower who responds to an ad from a private investigator seeking a retiree to go undercover in a retirement home to investigate a stolen necklace. Alongside Danson are Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, and Stephanie Beatriz.

      In the upcoming season, Charles will take on a new role as he goes undercover at a college. Joining the cast is newcomer Mary Steenburgen alongside Constance Marie (With Love), David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck), Gary Cole (NCIS), Jason Mantzoukas (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Jill Talley (Mr. Show), Linda Park (Bosch), Lisa Gilroy (Interior Chinatown), Madison Hu (The Brothers Sun), Max Greenfield (New Girl), Michaela Conlin (Bones), and Sam Huntington (Being Human).

      Marie will portray Vanessa, a former con artist who acts as a part-time source on the criminal underbelly for Julie (Lilah Richcreek Estrada). Strathairn will take on the role of Dr. Cole, the head of the English Department at Wheeler College, known as the most famous and popular professor on campus. Cole will play Brad Vinick, a prosperous businessman whose significant donation to his alma mater triggers a series of events that result in Charles being hired.

      Mantzoukas will be seen as Apollo Lambrakis, a friendly contractor with aspirations of writing the Great American Novel. Talley will embody Holly Bodgemark, the overworked and constantly stressed Provost of Wheeler College. Park will assume the role of Elizabeth Muki, the Fine Arts Department director at the college. Gilroy will play Kelseigh Rose, an aspiring photographer and the new wife of billionaire Brad Vinick.

      Hu will portray Claire, a junior at Wheeler College working multiple campus jobs to fund her education. Greenfield will be cast as Jack Beringer, the charming President of Wheeler College, whose responsibilities include raising funds from wealthy alumni. Conlin will play Andrea Yi, an economics professor at Wheeler College, looking forward to the upcoming changes at the institution. Huntington will take on the role of Max Griffin, a provocative journalism professor at the college.

      A Man On The Inside was created by Mike Schur (The Good Place, Parks and Recreation) and is inspired by the 2021 documentary The Mole Agent.
