Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer and premiere date for season 3 of Foundation.

Apple TV+ has unveiled a trailer for the highly praised sci-fi drama series Foundation, which follows a group of exiles as they strive to rebuild civilization and humanity amidst the looming threat of a new warlord known as The Mule, who endangers the entire galaxy; watch it below…

Taking place 152 years after Season 2, the Foundation has grown significantly from its modest origins, while the Cleonic Dynasty’s Empire has dwindled. As these two galactic powers form a tense alliance, a formidable threat emerges in the form of the warlord "The Mule," who aims to dominate the universe through brute force and mind control. The outcome is uncertain as Hari Seldon, Gaal Dornick, the Cleons, and Demerzel engage in a potentially lethal game of intergalactic chess, with no clear predictions on who will prevail, who will falter, who will survive, and who will meet their end.

The third season features the return of Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton, Terrence Mann, and Rowena King, along with new cast members Cherry Jones, Brandon P. Bell, Synnøve Karlsen, Cody Fern, Tómas Lemarquis, Alexander Siddig, Troy Kotsur, and Pilou Asbæk.

Foundation season 3 is set to debut on Apple TV+ on July 11th.
