When the enigmatic deep space research vessel USCSS Maginot crash-lands on Earth, "Wendy" (Sydney Chandler) and a mismatched group of tactical soldiers stumble upon a critical discovery that confronts them with the planet's greatest peril in FX’s "Alien: Earth."
Set in the year 2120, Earth is under the control of five corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold. In this Corporate Era, cyborgs (humans with both biological and artificial components) and synthetics (humanoid robots equipped with artificial intelligence) coexist with humans. The landscape shifts dramatically when the brilliant Founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation unveils a breakthrough in technology: hybrids (humanoid robots infused with human consciousness). The initial hybrid prototype, named “Wendy,” signifies a new chapter in the quest for immortality. Following a collision between Weyland-Yutani's spaceship and Prodigy City, “Wendy” and the other hybrids encounter terrifying life forms beyond their wildest fears.
Joining Sydney Chandler as Wendy, the cast of Alien: Earth features Timothy Olyphant (Kirsh), Alex Lawther (Hermit), Samuel Blenkin (Boy Kavalier), Babou Ceesay (Morrow), Adrian Edmondson (Atom Eins), David Rysdahl (Arthur Sylvia), Essie Davis (Dame Sylvia), Lily Newmark (Nibs), Erana James (Curly), Adarsh Gourav (Slightly), Jonathan Ajayi (Smee), Kit Young (Tootles), Diêm Camille (Siberian), Moe Bar-El (Rashidi), and Sandra Yi Sencindiver (Yutani).
Alien: Earth will launch with its first two episodes on Wednesday, August 13th.
