Jude Law and Andrew Garfield will portray Siegfried and Roy in a series for Apple TV+.

If you grew up prior to the 2000s, the name Siegfried & Roy was impossible to ignore. Now, their incredible story involving wild tigers will finally be brought to the screen.

Variety has confirmed that an Apple TV+ limited series is on the way, featuring Jude Law and Andrew Garfield as stars. Law will portray Siegfried, while Garfield will take on the role of Roy. The series will consist of eight episodes and is based on the Apple Original Podcast, Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy.

John Hoffman is developing the series for television and will act as executive producer, showrunner, and director. Matt Shakman will also serve as an executive producer and is expected to direct the first episode. Both Law and Garfield are attached as executive producers as well.

The official synopsis for the show describes it as "the thrilling relationship story of two of the greatest showman-magicians in history who, alongside their white tigers, set out to transform Sin City into a family-friendly haven. This duo pushes the boundaries of illusion and reality to their limits, both personally and professionally, until a tragic event redefines and unveils a mystery surrounding their final Las Vegas performance."

For those unfamiliar, Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn initially performed as a magic act on cruise ships and in nightclubs before making a splash in Las Vegas. Their performances often included tigers, but a shocking event in 2003 abruptly ended their careers.

Production is scheduled to commence this fall.
