HBO Max has released a trailer and images for "Task," an upcoming crime drama created by Brad Ingelsby (known for "Mare of Easttown").
Mark Ruffalo plays an FBI agent who heads a task force aiming to halt a series of violent robberies occurring in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
The cast also includes Tom Pelphrey, Emilia Jones, Jamie McShane, Sam Keeley, Thuso Mbedu, Fabien Frankel, Alison Oliver, Raúl Castillo, Silvia Dionicio, Phoebe Fox, and Martha Plimpton.
Set against the backdrop of the working-class suburbs of Philadelphia, the story follows an FBI agent (Ruffalo) who leads a team to stop a wave of violent robberies committed by an unsuspecting family man (Pelphrey).
"Task" is set to premiere on HBO Max this September.
