The horror action game Frog Legs leaps onto Steam.
Solo developer Elliott Dahle has officially launched his amphibian horror action game, Frog Legs, on PC via Steam. This brief, narrative-focused game features a regular frog as he leaps, runs, and ribbits his way to escape his troubled past. With arcade segments inspired by Frogger, boomer shooter elements, and a chilling storyline, Frog Legs presents horror through a froggy lens. Check out the launch trailer below...
In Frog Legs, players accompany protagonist Carl and his friends as their ordinary amphibian lives are disrupted by a tragic incident involving traffic hopping and river log leaping from years ago. Players must decide whether to confront or coexist with the horrors of their history while assisting the froggy group in stopping the chaos before they croak.
Players will need to navigate Carl and his companions across dangerous roads in a 2D arcade gameplay format, solve intricately designed puzzles, and shoot enemies with a Big Froggin’ Gun (or BFG) in classic boomer shooter fashion. Help the frogs triumph through a concise story penned by an accomplished horror fiction writer.
Frog Legs includes:
A well-crafted storyline that can be completed in a relatively short time.
Ample frog-themed humor.
A variety of jumpscares throughout the game's 60-minute runtime.
Puzzles to solve and investigations into why the past has resurfaced as an unpleasant reminder.
Frog Legs is currently available on Steam for the affordable price of £2.49/ €2.99/ $2.99, and is being offered with a 15% launch discount.
