A trailer has been released for The Protector, a post-apocalyptic action thriller reminiscent of Mad Max, created by writer-director Raul Gasteazoro.
The story centers on Key (Marguerite Moreau), a woman serving a life sentence who is given the opportunity for freedom and the chance to atone for her past by attempting to access the last freshwater aquifer in the region.
The cast alongside Moreau includes Graham Greene, Chris Redman, Mark Lane III, and Jade Tailor. You can watch the trailer below...

In her quest to escape a life sentence and earn her freedom, Key strikes a deal with Gael, the ruthless leader of a gang of outlaws called the Revelers.
During her dangerous journey, she encounters an orphaned boy named Kellan and comes to realize that there is more at stake than she originally thought. With a chance to correct her past mistakes and a newfound sense of responsibility, Key fights to safeguard what remains and the future of the West.
Key’s mission is straightforward: a Native American reservation holds the last freshwater aquifer in the area, but it is enclosed by a minefield. She is the only one aware of how to enter it. If she succeeds, her freedom will be hers.
The Protector is scheduled to be released on May 23rd.
