      IFC Center: Ran begins its run in a 40th-anniversary restoration; Goodfellas and Withnail and I are shown daily; Wanda screens on Friday and Sunday, alongside Children of Men on Friday; late-night showings include To Live and Die in L.A., Brain Damage, In the Realm of the Senses, and Liquid Sky.

      Roxy Cinema: Paranormal Activity will be shown in 35mm this Friday; Fail Safe and a 16mm print of Prime Cut are scheduled for Saturday; Agnès Varda’s Lions Love (…and Lies) and Hiroshi Kore-eda’s After Life (featuring Kiarostami’s short Solution) are set for Sunday.

      Museum of the Moving Image: Police Story, The Great Waldo Pepper, and Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior are part of the “See It Big: Stunts!” series; Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird will be screened on Saturday and Sunday with special guests in attendance.

      Nitehawk Cinema: The Red Shoes will be screened early on Saturday and Sunday.

      Anthology Film Archives: A retrospective dedicated to Richard Foreman is currently in progress, with films by Bruce Baille and Kenneth Anger featured in Essential Cinema.

      Metrograph: Titles such as Magnolia, The Insider, Air Force One, Bamboozled, My Neighbor Totoro, and Blade Runner: The Final Cut are being shown in 35mm; retrospectives of Glauber Rocha and Freddie Francis, along with titles like Guided By Animals, The Time That Remains, Scenes from the End of History, and series on Tyler Mitchell, Louise Giovanelli, and Syd Mead are ongoing.
