The new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II provides an initial glimpse of the gameplay.

Kasedo Games and Bulwark Studios have unveiled a new trailer (see below) for their turn-based tactical sequel, Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II. This trailer offers an exhilarating first glimpse at the confrontations the Adeptus Mechanicus will encounter against the ancient Necron.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II transports players to the contested planet of Hekateus IV, a world under the control of the Imperium of Man and a tomb world for the fearsome Necrons. Once the Necrons awakened, legions of Necron warriors and their war machines emerged from the labyrinthine underworld to wage war against the living.

Players will engage in two playable campaigns across visually varied battlegrounds, from the shadowy tombs of the Necrons to the highly industrial and techno-religious forge cities of the Adeptus Mechanicus. All maps are packed with numerous opportunities for strategic domination.

Returning players of the original Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus will recognize familiar characters like Magos Dominus Faustinius’ trusted advisors. These leaders are deployable and upgradable, each bringing their unique personalities to the battlefield.

In addition to these familiar characters, the game will also introduce the Leagues of Votann, known to many veteran 40K enthusiasts as Squats. This will mark the first appearance of this short, resilient, and technologically advanced race in a Warhammer video game. Players will need to uncover their purpose on Hekateus IV and whether they pose a threat to Imperial forces.

Keep an eye out for Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II, set to launch for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
