Elijah Wood presents The Killer Nutz in the new trailer for The Toxic Avenger.
A new teaser has been released online for director Macon Blair's long-awaited remake of the cult classic Troma superhero comedy The Toxic Avenger, which highlights the film's nu metal band, The Killer Nutz; you can watch it below.
"A shocking incident turns the downtrodden janitor Winston Gooze (Dinklage) into a mutant vigilante. With his signature mop in hand, the unlikely hero confronts freaks, gangsters, and corrupt CEOs, all while attempting to maintain his relationship with his son. The narrative captures the subversive and wild spirit of the original Toxic Avenger while providing a fresh, modern twist."
The cast includes Peter Dinklage as Toxie, alongside Kevin Bacon, Elijah Wood, Jacob Tremblay, Julia Davis, and Taylour Paige.
The Toxic Avenger is set to hit theaters on August 29th.
