The latest update for Death Note Killer Within brings a new role.
Bandai Namco Entertainment has launched a new free update for DEATH NOTE Killer Within that introduces a new role within Kira’s crew. Additionally, new Premium DLC has been made available for players seeking more variety in their teams. A trailer highlighting these new features can be viewed below.
The free update for DEATH NOTE Killer Within adds the role of Kira’s Spokesperson. This unique role carries the significant responsibility of decreasing the number of investigators by discreetly placing “Kira’s Kingdom Cards” on other players during the Action phase. If any player who receives this card is arrested, they will be deemed one of Kira’s accomplices and will be unable to continue their involvement in the investigation. The player assuming this new role must also exercise caution to avoid drawing suspicion since they could face the same consequences if arrested while in possession of the cards.
Moreover, players can buy new premium DLC to enhance their teams. This includes a premium Light Yagami (shirt) avatar and the Premium Customisation Track Vol. 5. This latest track offers two additional premium avatars for Rem and Naomi Misora, along with two new nameplates, ten character cut-ins, 19 accessories, and two brand-new adorable pets.
DEATH NOTE Killer Within is an engaging 10-player social deduction game inspired by the well-known anime series and is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
