Before its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this June, a trailer has been released for writer-director Lucia Garibaldi’s dystopian sci-fi drama, A Bright Future.
Set in a desolate, timeless neighborhood in South America, the film follows a young girl, Elisa (Martina Passeggi), who is selected for an esteemed journey to the enigmatic “North” — a far-off promised land from which no one has returned, including her older sister.
The cast features Martina Passeggi alongside Soledad Pelayo, Sofía Gala Castiglione, and Alfonso Tort. Watch the trailer below…
Elisa is among the last young women chosen to head North, a sort of promised land where history is unfolding. A Bright Future is set to premiere in the Viewpoints section of the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival in June.
