New trailer released for the action comedy Heads of State featuring John Cena and Idris Elba.

      In anticipation of its premiere on Prime Video next month, a new trailer has been unveiled for the upcoming action comedy, Heads of State. Directed by Ilya Naishuller (Nobody), the film features Suicide Squad stars Idris Elba and John Cena portraying the UK Prime Minister and the U.S. President, who are reluctantly compelled to set aside their well-known rivalry and collaborate, with the assistance of an MI6 agent, to stop a global conspiracy. The cast also includes Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, and Sarah Niles. Take a look at the new trailer and images below…

      In the action-comedy Heads of State, UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke (Idris Elba) and U.S. President Will Derringer (John Cena) engage in a contentious and highly visible rivalry that threatens their countries’ “special relationship.” However, when they become targets of a powerful and merciless foreign enemy—who proves to be more than a match for their security forces—they are reluctantly forced to depend on the only two individuals they can trust: each other. Ultimately teaming up with the brilliant MI6 agent Noel Bisset (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), they must go on the run and find a way to work together long enough to foil a global conspiracy that endangers the entire free world. Heads of State will be available on Prime Video starting July 2nd.
