      Are you prepared to witness the actions of the Wicked Witch? Elphaba finds herself in exile while Glinda ascends to prominence in the sequel to last year’s blockbuster film Wicked. The official trailer for Wicked: For Good offers a deeper glimpse into the dark and twisted world we encountered at the conclusion of Part One.

      Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), now labeled as The Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, concealed within the Ozian forest as she continues her struggle for the freedom of Oz’s mute Animals and fervently seeks to reveal the truth about The Wizard (Jeff Goldblum).

      In contrast, Glinda (Ariana Grande) has emerged as the glamorous embodiment of Goodness for all of Oz, residing in the palace of Emerald City and enjoying the benefits of fame and admiration. Under the guidance of Madame Morrible (Oscar® winner Michelle Yeoh), Glinda is assigned to be a bubbly source of comfort for Oz, easing the concerns of the populace that everything is well under The Wizard's rule.

      As Glinda's fame grows and she prepares for a magnificent wedding to Prince Fiyero (Olivier award winner and Emmy and SAG nominee Jonathan Bailey), she is tormented by her estrangement from Elphaba. She tries to mediate a reconciliation between Elphaba and The Wizard, but her attempts ultimately fail, pushing Elphaba and Glinda further apart. The repercussions will irrevocably change Boq (Tony nominee Ethan Slater) and Fiyero, and pose a threat to Elphaba’s sister, Nessarose (Marissa Bode), when a girl from Kansas unexpectedly enters their lives.

      As a furious mob turns against the Wicked Witch, Glinda and Elphaba will need to unite one last time. With their unique friendship now pivotal to their destinies, they must genuinely acknowledge each other with honesty and compassion if they are to transform themselves and all of Oz for good.

      The grand finale arrives in theaters this November.
