BBG Entertainment is set to launch the much-anticipated Boulder Dash 40th Anniversary on July 24 for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Mac, and PlayStation 4 and 5. Check out the new gameplay trailer below…

Boulder Dash 40th Anniversary will represent the definitive version of the series to date. This remake includes all 60 original levels from the first three Boulder Dash titles and adds 180 new levels, featuring some of the best creations from the global Boulder Dash community. All levels have been beautifully redesigned and meticulously balanced to enhance the gaming experience. Players will also have the option to create their own levels using an easy-to-navigate level editor.

For those who are new to this iconic game, players can choose from three characters to explore a series of caves filled with diamonds. To open the exit door, players must collect enough diamonds in each cave while navigating around dangerous enemies and falling rocks. Success in these levels will require not only skill but also strategic thinking, particularly when avoiding boulders.

Boulder Dash 40th Anniversary will include:

      - 6 brand new, never-before-seen worlds alongside 3 worlds crafted by dedicated fans.

      - 180 entirely new, balanced, and polished levels.

      - A range of new and unique items to assist in diamond collection, such as growing walls, slime, enemy generators, eggs, and more.

      - A level construction kit for creating, sharing, or downloading levels from other players.

      - A distinct visual style that merges modern themes with an original color palette.

      - 3 different characters.

      - Music and sound design by Chris Huelsbeck, one of the most renowned composers in gaming history.
