It's time to liven up your Steam library with the arrival of Dune: Awakening.
Players can now explore the desert planet of Arakis as Funcom’s Dune: Awakening officially launches on Steam. Those who bought the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition enjoyed a five-day early access period, but the game is now accessible to everyone eager to confront the might of an Imperium in the most expansive and ambitious Dune game to date. A new trailer is available below, showcasing highlights from earlier trailers to celebrate today's release.
Dune: Awakening immerses players in the harsh desert environment of Arakis, where challenges such as blistering heat, perilous sandstorms, and deadly sandworms await. Players will have the ability to craft all necessary items for survival, including weapons, armor, ground vehicles, and the famous Ornithopters.
Gamers can further their personal and political influence by aligning with either House Atreides or Harkonnen and can engage in activities that will impact the shared universe.
The world of Dune: Awakening is a vast multiplayer environment where hundreds of players coexist. Together, they will engage in trade, combat, navigate complex political landscapes, and collaborate to bring the world to life.
Also launching today is the Dune: Awakening Season Pass, which features the Wildlife of Arrakis DLC. This first of four DLCs includes four in-game statues that honor some of the planet’s most resilient creatures: the sandworm, chiroptera, kulon, and Muad’Dib. The subsequent three DLCs are set to be released in Q4 2025, Q1 2026, and Q2 2026.
Dune: Awakening and the Season Pass are now available on Steam.
