Microids and Microids Studio Lyon have unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile. Slated for release this September on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, the game adapts the classic tale by featuring two playable characters: the renowned Hercule Poirot and a new character, Jane Royce. In Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile, players will utilize their investigative skills while embarking on a journey that honors the essence of the original novel, providing a distinctive adventure filled with surprises not seen before.
When a serene cruise on the Nile is shattered by a dreadful crime, Poirot arrives to resolve the situation, while private detective Jane Royce is pursuing a murderer, leading her to intersect with Poirot’s investigation. This duo of detectives will tackle a case more intricate than they expected, brimming with twists and turns. However, the narrative extends beyond the book.
Players will leverage Poirot’s keen observation and Royce’s intuition to view the investigation from various perspectives. By playing as both characters, they will piece together the puzzle to reveal the truth.
