Vampires: Bloodlord Rising releases fresh gameplay trailer

      Mehuman Games, in collaboration with publisher Toplitz Productions, has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for their forthcoming open-world action-adventure title, Vampires: Bloodlord Rising. This trailer (see below) showcases how players can soar over towns, engage in battles against armed soldiers, and grapple with an insatiable thirst for blood. Vampires: Bloodlord Rising is set to launch in Early Access later this year.

      In Vampires: Bloodlord Rising, you will take on the role of Dragos, a survivor of a vampire attack who has now become a feared creature of the night. You will govern the fictional Balkan state of Sangavia and must choose between being a benevolent leader who fulfills your duty to protect the populace, or transforming into a dreaded monster that preys on your subjects. Regardless of the type of ruler you choose to be, constructing a grand castle will be crucial for expanding your influence and enhancing your character's skills.

      Players can build their ideal castle by collecting resources and selecting from a wide array of walls, roofs, floors, staircases, decorations, and furniture. You can create a fortress to rival that of Count Dracula or Count Duckula, depending on your preference.

      Sangavia has a dark and twisted history that players will get to explore, along with a vast open world featuring mountainous landscapes, forests, dungeons, swamps, and more. These locations will hide treacherous foes, and although Dragos may be at the top of the food chain, he is not immune to attack.

      As one of the undead, players will have access to various abilities, including superhuman strength, heightened senses, increased speed, and the option to transform into a giant bat to swoop over towns and forests. The choice of who becomes part of your vampire family or merely serves as a source of sustenance lies entirely in your hands, but keep in mind that the public's perception of you will shift based on your actions—whether noble or nefarious.
