
The initial trailer for the crime comedy Roofman featuring Channing Tatum has been released.
Paramount Pictures has released the inaugural trailer for Derek Cianfrance’s (Blue Valentine) crime comedy-drama, Roofman.
The film is based on the true story of fugitive Jeffrey Manchester, portrayed by Channing Tatum, a former Army Ranger who eluded capture for six months while secretly living in a Toys “R” Us after robbing multiple McDonald’s locations.
Joining Tatum in the cast are Kirsten Dunst, Ben Mendelsohn, LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Melonie Diaz, Uzo Aduba, Lily Collias, Jimmy O. Yang, and Peter Dinklage. You can view the trailer, poster, and first-look images here...
Roofman tells the incredible true story of Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), a former Army Ranger and struggling father who resorts to robbing McDonald’s by creating openings in their roofs, which earns him the nickname Roofman. After he escapes from prison, he lives undetected in a Toys “R” Us for six months, all while plotting his next heist. However, when he falls for Leigh (Kirsten Dunst), a divorced mother captivated by his charm, his secret life starts to unravel, igniting a gripping and suspenseful cat-and-mouse chase as his past catches up with him. Roofman is set to hit theaters on October 10th.
