      In anticipation of its US debut later this month, Janus Films has released both a poster and trailer for Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s (Pulse) psychological thriller, Cloud.

      Masaki Suda plays Yoshii, a man entangled in the dubious world of black market reselling who starts to suspect that his past victims are seeking revenge; you can watch the trailer below…

      A stylish and subversive thriller from suspense expert Kiyoshi Kurosawa (Cure, Pulse), it follows Yoshii, an ambitious but aimless young factory worker from Tokyo who engages in black market reselling, deceiving both buyers and sellers. After conniving his way to a significant amount of money, he becomes increasingly detached from humanity, relocating from the city, neglecting his girlfriend, and hiring a loyal assistant. However, following a series of eerie and ominous events, he begins to fear that his former victims may be plotting a severe retaliation. Renowned for expertly building tension to a violent climax, Kurosawa offers a striking depiction of digital greed and retribution.

      Cloud is scheduled to release on July 18th.
