World of Warships introduces US Destroyers and Blue Archive Wave 2.
Wargaming is heading into summer with a comprehensive July update for World of Warships. This latest update introduces four formidable new U.S. destroyers available in Early Access, a new influx of Blue Archive content, and numerous quality-of-life enhancements. Check out the new trailer below to discover what's new for July.
Kicking off with the firepower, four new American destroyers – Hughes (Tier VII), Osborne (Tier VIII), Christopher (Tier IX), and Burrows (Tier X) – are now in Early Access. From Tier VIII onward, these ships boast powerful 137mm guns and feature toggleable Smoke Generators, along with substantial HP pools, making them formidable artillery ships on the ocean. Players can acquire these through special bundles and by earning tokens in a new U.S.-themed Event Pass and Personal Challenges.
For Blue Archive enthusiasts, the collaboration returns from July 9 to August 7, introducing four new Commanders, four themed ships, and the return of popular favorites like BA Tirpitz and BA Montana. Additionally, for a limited time, the Admiral’s Bundle and the unique Wishing Wharf mechanic are making a comeback, allowing players to pursue exclusive crossover rewards.
There are also two new combat mission chains available that will offer additional rewards, including special containers, Coal, and permanent camouflage options. The update also implements a sleek UI upgrade, which features an enhanced Container screen with new animations, a reward tracker, and easier mass opening options.
Lastly, the new ship rotation system and WG’s Temporal Super Sampling technology aim to optimize the shop and enhance in-game visuals without compromising frame rate.
Prepare yourselves, commanders. It’s going to be a bustling summer.
