Complete Trailer for Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another Delivers the Chaos

      We are now just two months away from the highly anticipated release of Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another. As the September 26 launch approaches, which includes an IMAX and 70mm roll-out, Warner Bros. has finally ramped up the marketing campaign with the debut of the first complete trailer backed by Kendrick Lamar, along with a series of character posters.

      This film marks a long-awaited collaboration between the director and Leonardo DiCaprio after their efforts to partner on Boogie Nights nearly thirty years ago. The action-thriller-comedy is based on Thomas Pynchon’s expansive 1990 novel Vineland. Although the book is set in the Reagan era, PTA has updated the story to present day, focusing on a father who has abandoned his radical past and is now living a quiet life on the run with his daughter. When a white supremacist Colonel, played by Sean Penn, resurfaces to hunt them down, they are forced to flee.

      The cast also includes Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, Benicio del Toro, Chase Infiniti, Wood Harris, and Alana Haim. From initial test screenings, we’ve learned that the film contains "loads of action and car chases," featuring a “phenomenal” chase scene in the climax, and is the “closest we’ll ever get” to a full-blown action movie from PTA.
