Following forty-one years since the iconic mockumentary ‘This Is Spinal Tap’ debuted, the once-disconnected bandmates David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel, and Derek Smalls (played by McKean, Guest, and Shearer) are compelled to come together for a final show. 'Spinal Tap II: The End Continues' also brings back documentarian Marty Di Bergi (Reiner), who attempts to capture his beloved metal band as they face issues of mortality — and the hope that their twelfth drummer won’t join them in The Great Beyond. Alongside music legends Paul McCartney and Elton John, Spinal Tap confronts their tumultuous history in hopes of delivering a performance that cements their legacy in rock ’n’ roll history.
Spinal Tap II: The End Continues is scheduled to be released on September 12th, 2025.
