Introducing the cadets with the first trailer for Star Trek: Starfleet Academy and the character posters.

      Paramount+ released the initial teaser trailer today at San Diego Comic-Con for the forthcoming sci-fi drama, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, giving viewers a glimpse of the young cadets as they explore the main campus in San Francisco and the U.S.S. Athena.

      The cast features Sandro Rosta, Karim Diané, Kerrice Brooks, George Hawkins, Bella Shepard, Zoë Steiner, and Holly Hunter, along with Star Trek veterans Tig Notaro, Robert Picardo, Oded Fehr, and Mary Wiseman. There will also be guest appearances by Gina Yashere and Paul Giamatti.

      Star Trek: Starfleet Academy chronicles the journeys of a fresh class of cadets in one of the galaxy's most iconic locations. Under the supervision and high expectations of their instructors, they will learn what it means to become Starfleet officers while managing developing friendships, intense rivalries, first romances, and a new adversary that endangers both the Academy and the Federation.
