Marvel unveils vintage Halloween Mask variant covers.
Marvel has revealed that this fall it will embrace a nostalgic approach, honoring the classic cut-out Halloween masks from the 1960s through a collection of Retro Halloween Mask variant covers by artist James Kerigan, which will appear on fifteen titles during September.
"Creating this cover series was an absolute joy because it combined two of my greatest passions: Marvel and Halloween,” Kerigan remarked. “The Halloween decorations of the 70s, particularly those vacu-form costume masks, inspired me greatly, reflecting a charming nostalgia that I wanted to capture in this project. It was delightful to evoke that retro, slightly eerie feel in a way that celebrates both the season and the artistry!”
