The Toxic Crusaders video game has a new trailer and an announced release date.

      The creators of nostalgia at Retroware have revealed that the much-anticipated beat-’em-up game, Toxic Crusaders, will debut on consoles and PC via Steam on December 4th.       Drawing inspiration from the classic arcade brawlers of the 1990s, Toxic Crusaders has players defending Tromaville against the wicked plans of the evil Dr. Killemoff and his legion of Radiation Rangers. Players will battle these villains across various locales, including gyms, junkyards, boutiques, and restrooms, taking on the roles of beloved toxic heroes like Toxie, Nozone, Junkyard, Major Disaster, and others.

      In true beat-’em-up style, team up with three friends to clear the streets of Tromaville from Dr. Killemoff’s Radiation Rangers. Choose from seven playable characters (Toxie, Nozone, Junkyard, Major Disaster, Headbanger, Yvonne, and Mrs. Junko) to defeat the foes utilizing their distinct abilities.

      Featuring a brand-new narrative that continues from the Saturday morning cartoon, players can look forward to pixel-art levels adorned with vivid backgrounds and exhilarating, pun-filled battles.

      Toxic Crusaders will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC on December 4th. Gamers can currently download the demo on Steam.
