Kevin Toms Football Star Manager simplifies the complexities of modern management games, allowing players to experience a time when such games were quick, enjoyable, engaging, and easy to start. As highlighted in the new trailer, it’s time to return to more straightforward times, where excessive hardware or lengthy commitments weren't necessary.
Players will have the ability to customize their team, alter kits, and even rename players. There is also the opportunity to secure loans and manage morale boosts, all presented with text and graphics that echo the original 8-bit version.
The game will bring back classic simplicity, enabling players to oversee their team across four divisions (similar to the UK structure of the past), with chances for promotion, relegation, and participation in various cup tournaments. Players can engage in the transfer market, make tactical choices, and handle club finances, all in an accessible format.
Kevin Toms Football Star Manager is set to release on 14th August, coinciding with the beginning of the Premier League season, and will also be available on mobile devices.
