A new trailer for the horror remake of Witchboard featuring Madison Iseman has been released.

      A new trailer has been released online for director Chuck Russell’s (A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, The Blob) upcoming reimagining of the cult classic 1986 horror film Witchboard, which is set to come out later this month.

      Stars Madison Iseman and Aaron Dominguez portray Emily and Christian, a young couple who stumble upon a cursed Witchboard while launching their dream cafe in New Orleans. However, as Emily becomes increasingly fascinated by the artifact’s powers, they turn to an occult scholar, Alexander Babtiste (James Campbell Bower), who has his own dark plans for the board.

      The cast features Madison Iseman, Aaron Dominguez, Mel Jarnson, Charlie Tahan, Antonia Desplat, and Jamie Campbell Bower. Take a look at the trailer below, along with a selection of new promotional images.

      In New Orleans, Emily (Madison Iseman) and her fiancé Christian (Aaron Dominguez) are excited to open their new dream café. Their aspirations, however, are disrupted when Emily discovers an ancient, cursed Witchboard, which was once a portal to the spirit realm. As Emily grows more obsessed with the board’s power to summon spirits, Christian turns to Alexander Babtiste (Jamie Campbell Bower), a mysterious scholar of the occult. As Emily’s connection to reality begins to fade, Babtiste’s ulterior motives are revealed; he intends to harness the Witchboard’s dark power for his own sinister objectives.

      Witchboard is scheduled for release on August 15th.
