In anticipation of the film's premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month, Sony Pictures Classic has released the first teaser trailer for Nuremberg, a drama directed and written by James Vanderbilt (Truth), which is based on the Nuremberg trials following World War II.
The teaser presents Russell Crowe as Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring, who is the highest-ranking among the 22 Nazi leaders facing trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity before an International Military Tribunal. Check out the teaser trailer below…
The Allies, under the determined chief prosecutor Robert H. Jackson (Michael Shannon), are tasked with holding the Nazi regime accountable for the atrocities of the Holocaust while a US Army psychiatrist (Rami Malek) engages in a tense psychological confrontation with former Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe).
The cast features Russell Crowe, Rami Malek, Michael Shannon, Leo Woodall, Richard E. Grant, John Slattery, Mark O’Brien, Colin Hanks, Lydia Peckham, and Wrenn Schmidt.
Nuremberg is set to be released in theaters on November 7th.
