Arrow Video is releasing Abel Ferrara's Ms. 45 in 4K Ultra HD.
Arrow Video has revealed that it will be releasing filmmaker Abel Ferrara’s cult revenge thriller Ms. 45 on 4K Ultra HD, accompanied by a brand new restoration of the 1981 exploitation film featuring Zoë Tamerlis as a mute woman seeking vengeance.
Set in New York City in 1980, the story follows Thana, a mute seamstress who, after being raped at gunpoint on her way home from work, returns to her apartment only to face another assault from a burglar. This time, however, she fights back. Armed with an iron, she bludgeons her attacker, seizes his gun, and starts to dismember the body. Driven by her trauma, Thana recognizes that sexual danger pervades the city and resolves to address it with deadly force.
