With the eagerly awaited adaptation of The Thursday Murder Club set to release this month, Netflix has unveiled a new trailer and promotional images for director Chris Columbus’ film version of Richard Osman’s bestselling book.
The movie features Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, and Celia Imrie, supported by a cast that includes Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Tom Ellis, Jonathan Pryce, David Tennant, Paul Freeman, Geoff Bell, Richard E. THE THURSDAY MURDER CLUB, based on Richard Osman’s globally bestselling book, centers on four spirited retirees—Elizabeth (Helen Mirren), Ron (Pierce Brosnan), Ibrahim (Ben Kingsley), and Joyce (Celia Imrie)—who spend their leisure time solving cold case murders for enjoyment. However, when an unexplained death occurs right on their doorstep, their lighthearted detective work turns into a captivating mystery as they find themselves involved in a genuine whodunit.
