      The fifth season of Only Murders in the Building has revealed through its latest trailer that it will return on September 9th for the popular comedy mystery series. This season will see Charles, Oliver, and Mabel investigating the mysterious death of Lester, the cherished doorman of the Arconia. Their inquiry will lead them to encounter elements of the mob as well as New York City's emerging high society, featuring newcomers such as Bobby Cannavale, Christoph Waltz, Logan Lerman, Renée Zellweger, and Téa Leoni among the diverse suspects in this season.       Following the suspicious death of their beloved doorman Lester, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel are convinced it was not an accident. Their investigation takes them into the darker areas of New York and beyond, where they unravel a perilous web of secrets connecting influential billionaires, traditional mobsters, and the enigmatic residents of the Arconia. The trio discovers a growing divide between the storied city they believed they knew and the evolving New York around them—a place where the old mob battles to maintain its power against newer, even more perilous players.

      Only Murders in the Building features Steve Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Michael Cyril Creighton, Meryl Streep, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Richard Kind, and Nathan Lane, alongside newcomers Bobby Cannavale, Beanie Feldstein, Jermaine Fowler, Keegan-Michael Key, Renée Zellweger, Logan Lerman, Christoph Waltz, and Téa Leoni.
